Where Even Flowers Can Grow

Where Even Flowers Can Grow is a total installation and dance performance about well-being and mental health for young and adult audiences. The performance will be developed in collaboration with Askovsfonden KBH+, premiere at Aveny-T on February 20, 2024, and will also be presented at Plattform, Dansstationen in Sweden and the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands. The show aims to expand the audience’s understanding of body and mind through a bodily and sensory immersive universe.

Behind the project is a newly established group of artists consisting of Caroline Blomqvist (SE/DK), Nadja Bounenni (GR/DK), Ingri Høyland (NO/DK), Uli Ruchlinski (SE), and Aina Erika Jonasson (SE/DK). We are based in Copenhagen and Malmö and share a special commitment to using our artistic practices to creatively translate and highlight well-being and mental health during the formative years of youth.
